Drus (Reef Dragon): These energetic dragons can be seen flitting around the shallow waters of coral reefs. Drus are a small species, at most growing only about three feet from tail to head. Their bright colors help them blend in with their tropical enviroment, as well as help attract mates. During mating season, a hard, eleborate shell-like formation grows at the end of males' long tails that also aids in attracting mates. Females later lay one egg into the shell to hatch, leaving the hatchling to live in the father's shell for two to three months before it becomes large enough to fend for itself. When the hatchling leaves the shell, the formation falls off the father's tail, only for a new one to regrow the next mating season.
I should have put this one earlier, but it must have slipped my mind. It took two days of hard work to do, when I started it after being inspired by the fantastic spriters on DragCave. This, after Blu, is probably one of my few and first attempts at spriting, which, unfortunately, needs work on texture and shading, and the front leg could probably be adjusted. I'll get to fixing it at some point, it's never gonna be DragCave quality, but I'll keep this up as a reminder to work on spriting. Enjoy.
I never really considered actually sending this to Dragcave, xD, I always feel my art would be fail compared to other artists. Though I'm glad for your support, I may just try to work on this a bit and submit it to DC sometime.
They were the most fun to draw. xD

I give the bestest of luck
During the boringness of History class.
Do you feel more creative in school? Sometimes I do.
Boredom is my inspiration.
Occasionally scary.
But usually fun. C:
